Group

PROHS is a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of specialised hospital and laboratory equipment in the disinfection and sterilisation field.

Covering all the needs of a Reprocessing Unit for Medical Devices  (RUMED, formerly known as CSSD), PROHS stands out through its ability to design, manufacture and install sterilisation departments tailored to the needs and requirements of each Hospital or Clinic.

In the laboratory area, from the embryonic phase we accompany and advise the client in developing a solution adapted to the sterilisation and disinfection needs of each project.

Continuous R&D investment allows PROHS to keep its products up to date, competitive and user-friendly, manufacturing modern and efficient sterilisers and washers disinfectors, able to adapt to the most stringent requirements of the Hospital and Laboratory segments.

All these factors, alongside the rigorous certification of the products, have earned PROHS the reputation of an international benchmark in the sterilisation sector. PROHS equipments are currently operating in more than 50 countries, in the 5 continents.

PROHS in the world

The arrival of the 21st century saw PROHS begin its internationalisation process, investing initially in the PALOP (Portuguese-speaking) countries, focusing mainly on Angola and Mozambique.

The strategy was followed up and reinforced in the middle of the decade through its first participation in MEDICA, the world’s largest health sector trade fair, in Dusseldorf, as an exhibitor. Since then, the group has constantly exhibited at the annual fair, leading to contacts being made all over the world.

Today the company takes part in several fairs and exhibitions in the Medical and Laboratory field every year to expand and consolidate its global presence, strengthening and increasing its international partnerships.

Today, through its distribution network PROHS operates in over 50 countries with local partners in regions spanning the 5 continents.

The international future of PROHS involves strengthening the competitive, rigorous and innovative reputation it has earned over the years, as well as its market share in the countries where it is present. Furthermore, the challenge is to continue to expand into new regions in a sustainable manner, both in the hospital sector and the laboratory sector.
